Prediction: Massive hit, whether folks here like it or not. :p

Which is going to fund the MicroCortex, which will have more stuff - including NDSP models to go along with Captures.
Still no touch screen though.

Nano $549
Micro $1,199
Quad $1,699

Bank on it!

Found on the webz.

It would be pretty easy to HX Stomp all over that argument. ;)

Exactly. Compared to the Stomp, there's exactly 2 valid points left:

- NDSP or your own captures.
- USB-powered.

Plus maybe another 0.5 points, namely the smaller size.

Anything else that could be said in favour of a live playing device would be in favour of the Stomp.

I just read that even with MIDI you still can’t turn FX on and off? So is MIDI just for switching presets that aren’t right next to each to each other? And there’s no FX loop so if you want to have post-amp FX they’re pretty much in the device or not in the device, so as a direct solution with FX pedals you need a DI box. There just seem to be a lot of common-use stuff ignored in the hardware design. I think this is the NDSP’s version of the iPhone S models. You really want people to see you have the brand, or really feel good about having it, so it doesn’t matter that it’s basically crippled out of the box.

I don’t hate it honestly
Having the 4 presets instantly accessible kind of saves it

But if they had even some of the amp models and a few more effects it would have been instant buy I think for me

Not for me, but looks ok! Fixed fx order and limited to one fx per type must be a workaround to allow them to have gapless switching and staying within dsp limits. But did they always use to market Mind Hall as a Lexicon model? I'm pretty sure they never did.

Yeah it's a hell no from me. Miserable fx, captures only, poor onboard control, high price.

I think this is a pretty good device imo.

$549, can capture on-device, and is not using IK Multimedia software. Thumbs up. They’ll sell a shitload of these things.

Despite the blandness of their effects, I think this would have been more of a home run if you could choose from their full catalog of effects for those types. They may yet be able to do that with updates, but then the Nano vs QV dev shit comes in. If they were going to include effects, they should have included more and more flexible placement of them. (But price, perhaps)

I’m just so out on capture-only mini pedals I can’t muster any interest. Capture devices are hell on earth unless you are digitizing your own personal rig, or are just an endless tinkerer.

I'm currently sitting on the KSR Ares, Pink Taco V2, Mezzabarba Skill, and 5153LBX.

Will definitely hold on to one but I'm thinking I'm gonna get the Nano, capture them all, and then sell three.
Spend $550 to probably bank about $5-6K? No brainer.

Most importantly I think I can sell that story to the wife easy! (y)
