You can engage/bypass the effects with the onboard buttons. Unfortunately - and this is a major oversight - the only expression or MIDI control is of volume, gain and tone. No effect parameter can be controlled with MIDI CC. I own the Nano and this is big on my wish list for any future update. Of course patch changes can be made with MIDI program change commands - which would be made much simpler with a PC app where you could drag and drop to change the order of your patches.Looking at the manual it would appear that you can
Engage / Bypass FX w exp pedal , seems odd they would not have put that on a hold function of switch one
Also what parameters can be controlled by expression
Technically if you could control the semi tones on the Transpose that would give you a basic whammy pedal no?
oh really so only amp controls can be worked with the Expression pedal , no delay mix, reverb etc , that is a bummerYou can engage/bypass the effects with the onboard buttons. SameDid they tweak the analog delay for the Nano? I was messing with the QC today and noticed that the MINIMUM delay time is 200 ms which is odd. So you can't do slapback delays with that effect. Is that the same as the Nano?
it because in QC they have another delay type called Slapback , they want credit for both models .NeuralDSP: "I have altered the delay. Pray I do not alter it any further."
Good demo from Michael Nielsen…
No confirmation on this
But a FB post that is friends with a rep seems to indicate big updates coming
Here is some comments
- they are looking to move the noise gate into the amp block
Presumably to add a drive
-more delays and reverbs coming
- more functionality
Maybe NAMM announcements ?
It's fine if they wanna "Fractal-ize" the amp block by adding drive capabilities and whatnot. Not sure how that benefits "the most powerful floorboard amp modeler on the planet", but whatevs....
"More delays and reverbs coming" does perk my ears up a bit, but I have no confidence in them adding new devices in a timely fashion in the midst of The Great Plugin Conversion. Don't see that completing before late 2026, and the landscape should be pretttttty different by then.
