Was going to say this as well. Doesn't add anything the QC doesn't do.Especially if he’s holding on to the QC.

What an original name!Cortex Native

Sad thing is I went on for a few minutes to enjoy playing through the thing. Some of it sounds really great, as I’ve said. But I need to get through a good amount of content reorganization to make it useful and a) the on-device UI is terrible, and b) the PC editor is worse. In fact the PC editor is so terrible I haven’t even managed to determine whether it’s intended to serve as an editor yet.Return it. At this point; you've done your due diligence.
Ok this is just dumb , as if enough people already were not drawing line6 comparisonsCortex Native

It's not. As far as the pedal is concerned; it's mainly just a portalSad thing is I went on for a few minutes to enjoy playing through the thing. Some of it sounds really great, as I’ve said. Yeah my method is just using a slot on the pedal I know I'll never use as my audition slot. It's not. As far as the pedal is concerned; it's mainly just a portalto hellto ToneNet
ToneX was never going to supplant QC for me either way. More a question of whether to use this with HX stomp for my “other” rig, ie whether the improvement in amp tones is worth the addtl footprint and usability headaches. That bargain isn’t playing out so well.Especially if he’s holding on to the QC.
I'll say I just fired up ToneX in 4cm with the Stomp and went through a few HX drives and it kicks some serious booty. You need to find that cap that trips your trigger then never touch the software againToneX was never going to supplant QC for me either way. Don’t make me say “double standard” again. It's not. As far as the pedal is concerned; it's mainly just a portalto hellto ToneNet
the route they take to get there is completely different
ToneX and QC snaps are literally new versions of the thing that Christoph Kemper invented.Since you quoted me, I just want to say for the record that I agree.
Sometimes I think your undying loyalty to that device is just meant to spite the rest of us. And then I look in the mirror, after ten years with the KPA. Wait, are these digital forums what aged me?ToneX was never going to supplant QC for me either way.
Maybe nothing but they filed the trademark

“Funnier with cats” is back, baby!
And that's where phrases like "flavor of the month/week" come in. Because we keep on wanting.Hey, at least here we're self aware enough to know that these experiments in the search for "improving tone" is pretty much a lie we tell ourselves to justify new gear
When it comes to inventions, what is more important in terms of IP protection, is not what you do, which starts as an idea, it's how you do it, which is the invention.ToneX and QC snaps are literally new versions of the thing that Christoph Kemper invented.

Probably not.Does kemper use ai at all?
Probably not.
I would guess it tweaks a pre-made preamp, think of it as advanced automatic tone matching.
