This has my attention.... I was actually just looking at used US models the other day as I've had a GAS flareup for one of these again.

Looks like they're retailing for $979. I'm tempted to jump on one but I have mixed feelings on SE stuff (yes I know they're good)

I don't love the pickguard shape on the SEs but I kinda dig it on the white. I'll have a lot to think about lol

Not gonna lie, this guitar looks awesome and is super tempting. Downside is I don't like any of the colors. But it looks like it would be a really fun and different guitar compared to anything else I've got. Also looks like it could make for a really nice downtuned guitar with the brighter but hum canceling pickups.

You saw one? :idk

I am not sold on the body shape, but that finish is all up in my wheelhouse.

Sweetwater has an exclusive Purple Doghair, if that's more up yer alley.

NF53 SE:

Neck Depth at the 1/2 Fret 7/8"
Neck Depth at the 12 1/2 Fret 31/32"
Neck Width at the Nut 1 41/64"
Neck Width at the Body 2 7/32"

Silver Sky SE:

Neck Depth at the 1/2 Fret 27/32"
Neck Depth at the 12 1/2 Fret 31/32"
Neck Width at the Nut 1 41/64"
Neck Width at the Body 2 15/64"

Actually, I take that back; the NF53 SE is actually a bit thicker than the SS SE is.

I like the idea and the finish and everything, but I keep wondering who this guitar is for? I guess folks who like Teles (me included) would just get a more traditional Tele (not necessarily from Fender), and folks who like single cuts in general would rather get other single cuts (as I would). To me, this guitar is either for folks who are really into PRS or for folks who want to try something "new". Good decision to make the SE, though. I don't think they moved a lot of the MIA ones.

And now the FAT neck has me back in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :knit:rofl
