PRS leak? NF3R SE

Ugh I fucking hate it

I got excited because I thought it was going to be like those new NF3s but an SE and that could be relevent to my interests... I guess the stands for revolting

Looks like someone snagged it already 😆. It seems interesting to me how many “new” models PRS has been introducing recently. Anyone have experience with the narrowfield pickups?

I can’t get remotely excited about any SE.

I'm in the minority here but I really dig it.

The beveled edges look really good with metallic finishes IMO. It reminds me of an Ernie Ball kind of, and compliments the lower horn cut. The white pearl finish with black guard and rosewood board would be slick.

The NF3 pickups are interesting. The price of the USA NF3 models were way too high so nobody ever used them, but now they're reasonable. They seem kind of like rail pickups but with a little wider aperture and deeper bobbins to get more winds.

The control layout is perfect too. Master volume, master tone, 5-way switch.

One thing I'm curious about is how the bridge pickup would handle gain. But this looks like an awesome modern alternative to a Strat that you could gig off the shelf.

Ok, after seeing that photo I'm in to it. Those bevelled body cuts really work well!
The black guard on blue is very nice. Now do it in moon inlays instead of birds and we'll talk, Paul. :clint

Get rid of that middle pickup and it'd look pretty cool. I do like that blue.
