Is there a PRS Tele?
I've owned both - a USA Core PRS DGT and a DGT SE. I sold the USA DGT because it was 9+ lbs and kept the SE. The SE is every bit the equal guitar to the US (although, no locking tuners). Playability and tonally, it is just as good. I infact prefer the SE because of the body carve which doesn't dig into the forearm as much as the USA Violin carve. Of course, doesn't mean that this carries to all models - but I will say, in general, I find the SE pickups to be very good.
I really like my SE DGT. Different neck shape and vibe to my core DGT but for the money it's unbeatable these days.
I have no room you scoundrel! Stop it!SE markdowns at the Big Box Retailers. Warning the weary.

A Swamp Ash PRS is something everyone should try at least once. A little bright and bitey
for me, but still killer axes.
I am curious about an NF3.
I played one of those today. Neck was great and the NF pickups sound like beefy Strat pickups. I dug it.
I like filling guitar holes with unique fits---even if I have to dig the holes myself.
NF3 is unique. Someone pass me a shovel, please.
I bet they did a good job on the import versions of those pickups since it’s a somewhat more proprietary pickup design. Even the pickups in my se silver sky soind killer and can’t see myself swapping them out for anything
Here’s a relative. Built December 1999, finished and labeled in January 2000The necks on the original core CEs are definitely satin nitro. The bodies aren't but the necks are. It's quite annoying because the neck on mine has aged really nicely but the body has those annoying white cloudy sections that prs got in the 90s and early 2000s when they got dinged.
This is a January 2000 model
