Opposite for me. Twitter can bring out the worst in people, and apparently Pete is no exception. The contrast compared with his musical life is night and day. It's so odd and out of place. Like @ejecta says - makes you wonder if that's him? But you know, people get much bolder with written word. They wouldn't dare say most of those things to someone's face, and for good reason.

Again, I don’t care about his view one way or the other. I care how he communicates. I even agreed with him on some stuff but unless you’re 100%, into the oven you go. Another wonderboy who has the world all figured out from a 10x12 room , who can’t see any good whatsoever in any other POV other than his own. This is not the mark of intelligence, or anyone who should be engaging in any kind of intellectual discourse. Hear the other side. Listen, digest and then respond. 6 year olds word vomit their opinions and want everything their way. Not mature adults. Unfortunately, social media is a playground littered with 6 year olds.

I can talk civilly with politics, religion, music tastes, whatever. But I don't do personally attacks on people and belittling them like you're raised in a barn. I don't get that.

I spent my teenage years working my 1st job in a pizzeria. EVERYONE yelled at me lol. I can still have a good exchange with someone about an issue with an opposing opinion. Heaven forbid they have a compelling argument and I LEARN SOMETHING. Omg. Can you imagine?

I can handle left wing, if I couldn't then there would be a plethora of music and film I'd miss out on. And some I do because that person is so outspoken and vile that they've ruined their brand, and I just won't have anything to do with them anymore. There is a line that can be crossed.

I'm just joking of course. But I see it all the time with people. They talk about getting along, living in peace, standing up for this and that -- yet their attacks and actions don't reflect that line of thinking?

A I think my view of anyone’s page may be limited and
B I have already invested too much time in this. I shared my personal experience and summed up my interactions with the man. You can certainly choose not to believe them. Ask yourself why I’d pick some random YouTube guitar player who many people seem to like, just to make up some elaborate story about him? Do you really think I’m that bored? But no, you don’t have to take my account at face value. You can think I made it up. I’m fine with that if you are, too.

I'd have to plow through a lot of his twitter feed and honestly I'd rather not. I've seen enough and if I go further it will ruin it for me. That's kinda my point -- acting like a 5 yr old on twitter doesn't do you any good. It looks as if there is no thought behind his tweets at all. And there is very little engagement too which is understandable. It's just very odd.
