As long as it's not a hugely pretentious short film like this, I'm fine:
Omg another lame add video… who will buy based on this vid?

But why does fractal not have to lower themselves to do crap like that like that video posted above? It reminds me of Silicon Valley TV show, when all companies claimed that their goal was making the world a better place (it wasn't, it never is; it's making money, and that's fine!), and many times for reasons that made no sense but just because it sounds good.
Exactly. In this age of social media fake lifestyle and endless hyperbole in YouTube, watching a company just showing their (good) stuff, without superfluous literature and shameful manipulation attempts, is a breath of fresh air that I at least appreciate a lot.
Great. Now Ben is gonna have to remind us all of the fuckin game boy post for the millionth time. But why does fractal not have to lower themselves to do crap like that like that video posted above?
Sorry, I don't quite understand what you meantBut why does fractal not have to lower themselves to do crap like that like that video posted above?

FFS seriously again ?
Apologize on one post about being behind but blow budgets on movie shorts
If line 6 didn’t advertise I wonder if it would hurt salesAside from print ads in guitar magazines, I'm not sure I've ever seen any direct marketing from Fractal. Probably has something to do with their direct sales model, and wanting to make sure they match supply to demand.
Because they don't have to. Fractal has built a very successful word-of-mouth following, as well as having a roster of well known artists using their gear. But why does fractal not have to lower themselves to do crap like that like that video posted above?
Yes it would. But it also doesn't mean they need to do some fluff videos. If line 6 didn’t advertise I wonder if it would hurt sales
But I bet most line6 sales are from stores where people visit like local stores? And can order from them cause easy returns? Some companies don't need marketing and some can't and shouldn't avoid it. It's like bands: some post a silly reel every two days so people remember they exist and some just spread news when they have some. I love and envy the latter.
in 2025? I would doubt that. But I bet most line6 sales are from stores where people visit like local stores?
I bet you that selling through the major online retailers is where the volume comes from. And can order from them cause easy returns?
I agree. My local GC has like only 1 of each version in stock and it's located off in the corner as high as possible on a shelf. Someone had to get a ladder from the back just to reach one for me. I ended up returning it after the Stadium was announced, but I got the impression that it seemed like you already had to know about it and be looking for it to buy it there. There were no display models you could test. It wasn't something you'd see while shopping. I'm sure it was probably different situation when it was new though. I got the impression that it was something most people were buying online.in 2025? I would doubt that.

Clips only make sense for a Line 6 original amp.
We all know what an AC30 sounds like.
We all know Pete Thorn can make the AC30 model in a Speak & Spell sound like magic.
We all know your mom can make the AC30 model in an FM9 sound like your dad’s ass.
Don’t waste everyone’s time.
I mean I honestly don’t see any other options. You get the Stadium and the new Fractal thing. Duh?Yeah, and then I start thinking about what is coming next that will make my Axe 3 seem like a Game Boy. And I’m still buying a Stadium.
And yes, “Your Dad’s Ass” is the name of my new punk band.![]()
