New Fractal speculation thread

Next year is FAS' 20th anniversary, kind of...!?
Why not secretly first crank out a new gen for Xmas 2025? :p
Cliff may be misleading us w/o really lying...! (one of those pipeline units may be near ready or can come after)
I was thinking it would be a few years (which would be more than fine with me), but this possible anniversary makes me wonder...
OTOH, they can play with what year is the official 20th...

Axe-Fx Standard reissue. It will support only the first firmware version, and will be non-upgradeable. Vintage modeler, baby!

I’m a huge Fractal fan. But, rehashing their products into smaller, cheaper, and dumber stuff isn’t the best thing IMHO. A premium brand should stay focused there. Will be interesting to watch where this all goes.
They’re still high end fractal products.

The VP4 is far from a fm3 effect only.

I would have to have the same thing but like amp/cab capabilities of the axe3 in a pedal format.

I already own an fm3 and having more amp/cab capabilities without having to buy an fm9 will be a blessing

Honestly. I really think they (not only fractal) should put a shoe in the ass of the “amp in a box” trend. The thing is, that is what many want, and UA went berserk on that… although in a very weird way (no midi, no headphones, hidden behind app features and so on). It wouldn’t be a bad idea to further put things in “segments”. Effects is one thing, amp and cabs is one thing, flagship everything in one… is one thing. Maybe even capture/profiling is its own thing (Kemper and Neural did so.

My point is. The end of pedalboard amp/cab in a box(pedal) is a very big thing. For many.

A fractal amp/cab pedal would def kick my Walrus ass. So would a L6 if done seriously (not a Pod Express).

Just my opinions… I think fractal should do it.

FM1!

Good god all of this. Say it louder for people in the back.

well...the vp4 kinda replaces the fx8 effects only unit so it already was something fractal had and just improved upon.

And the amps' various channels/modes will be modeled after their counterparts, unlike the way FAS does them now, with individual models.

This is the only product they have ever released, that is a bit of a head scratcher to me. I mean they always talk about how terrible the FX8 sold, but give me one any day over this.
