This. Though admittedly it would need an IR loader or built in IRs.I wish they made an acoustic version (for acoustic guitar). The bass version looks great!

Agreed. I actually just recommended it to the bassist during practice tonight.Saw a couple reviews from bass players gushing about the thing. I don't think there was any similar product for bass on the market before the POD Express - let alone at 180 bucks.
If by software you mean editor? Yes, but we can't talk about it right now.
If by software you mean firmware updates? There's already a POD Express bug fix update available.
Nah. I have the PodGo and the HX Stomp and there are distinct differences in the high end stuff that make it high end. It’s the same thing with recording gear. Once you hit a limit and know you can surpass it with the better gear, the itch will never cease. That being said, my PodGo is getting a lot more play right now because toan.Badass. (And we’re witnessing the death of the premium tier modeler and amps, when it ultimately becomes commonplace for pedal sized device to cost a couple hundred dollars while being capable of housing the history of guitar amps and effects. We’re not that far off, seeing how much improvement there has been recently in the small/budget line space )

Is there an acoustic version in the works? I would buy all three!Unfortunately, no. We don't even have the ability to change mics, distance, or position—Just 7 factory Cab IRs. Simplicity and cost are key here.
Not at all. I have never once used an IR with acoustic at any gig or recording session.This. Though admittedly it would need an IR loader or built in IRs.
An HX Stomp draws 0.9A@9V=8.1W.So HX algorithms running for up to 6 hours on freaking batteries.
There has to be an ARM processor in there
Maybe Oblivion is the new Badonk ?
9Wh / (0.15A * 9V) = ~6 hoursAn HX Stomp draws 0.9A@9V=8.1W.
The POD Express according to the manual draws 0.5A@9V=4.5W.
This is substantially less, only about 56%.
A typical AA battery has 3Wh, 3 of them 9Wh.
That would be 2 hours battery life for the POD Express (1.1 for the Stomp).
How is it powered?
POD Express ships with three AA batteries, which’ll give you about 6 hours of play time, but it also supports rechargeable AAs. Or use the Line 6 DC-1 power supply (sold separately) or your favorite 9V power supply or power brick (150mA or greater).
9Wh / (0.15A * 9V) = ~6 hours
He will wait for POD express wirelessYou getting one?
Wonder how many people would prefer to control the Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble by default and use Alt to change Effect/Amps. I'd probably tweak BMT and Reverb settings the most.

Hard pass… seems line 6 is churning out nickle and dime stuff to fill their coffers lately. Not impressed. Save your dough fellas if you have a fractal or helix or qc why bother? Cause it’s so easy to part with $200?
You getting one?
Is that what you are doing?Save your dough fellas
