Don't most IEMs have limiters built in to keep users from harming their hearing?

Not necessarily (but yes, sometimes they do). And in my case, almost never as I try to bring my own small mixer just for myself whenever possible, running a split signal of my guitar stuff into it, hence muting it on the house's IEM feed. That way, my guitars sound absolutely the same as at home (minus the difference between the used headphones).

If you still follow, @Digital Igloo, this is the very reason why I'd really love to see an option to do that kinda thing straight on the HX units, at least as long as there's a free stereo return (or aux in - but there's none, right?). That return could then be abused to serve as the IEM feed return while you'd monitor your guitar straight. Now that there's an onboard mixer, it should perhaps somehow be possible. I'd certainly love it.

You can globally repurpose Return 3/4 on Stadium XL (or Return 1/2 on Stadium) to be an always on Aux In that gets fed to its own stereo channel in all three Matrix mixer layers. If you're willing to sacrifice one of Stadium's four stereo paths, you could run a second FOH monitor feed as well, say, for a second band member; it could also get its own Matrix channel.

I'm sure Sound Design will end up making Agoura Line 6 Originals. In the meantime, we shuffled all the existing Line 6 Originals in with all the other amps on Stadium, so they're no longer stuck at the end of the list.

What does it resolve to? At launch, Showcase will only transmit beat clock with or without MIDI > MMC flags (no SPP, MTC, or SMPTE, at least not right away).

And can you adjust the FOH feed so that it doesn't get the signal of that aux return but just the processed guitar signal? I assume it'll be possible, as from how I understand it, the HP out has its own mixer layer, right?

As with HX Stomp/XL and POD Go/Express, Stadium's Aux In appears post-processing, so it's dry. If you sacrifice a path for additional FOH feeds they'll be processed by any blocks you have on those paths (which could be beneficial).

The Matrix mixer has an overall bus channel for the Home screen, but you can expand it to access all four individual stereo paths. Same with the overall Song bus channel and individual stereo tracks. And again, this is per-output, so the 1/4", XLRs, and Phones can have completely different mixes (or you can gang two—or all three—outputs).

Yeah, that might be cool - but it needed to be patch based in this case. I don't need to mention global blocks, I suppose...
