They could use 96kHz sampling rate effectively halving the hardware A/D/A latency but I'm not sure if that will improve the buffer latency in the DSP processes like it does in DAWs.

MS3 was a great idea, and it still is very good. It was my first venture into digital. My first ”ampless” setup was a MS-3 and a Vox MV Clean and some pedals on a board and a 1x12 cab. Worked great.

I wish there was a GT1000 era ms3 equivalent that was actually viable for routing and as an ir player.

And here’s the ms-3 board I had… damn I kinda miss this board now when I see it. The rat and timmy worked great with the Vox thingamabob.

The cool thing, which is guess is a boss thing, that’s not available in Helix HXFX is the parameter auto thingy which gave you basically auto wahs and auto filters and so on. It was cool to have.

Oh, it's been fully designed for years, and IMNSHO it's the best standalone pedal switcher that no one will ever see, because the run rates just aren't high enough.
It'd also cost quite a bit more than you expect.Not with a digitally-controlled analog matrix.

There's always a chance. If big, expensive pedalboard switchers become a standard, we may be forced to revisit. In the meantime, we have other ideas that might just bridge the gap.
