Helix 3.8 when?

Oh damn...I didn't get an LT because everyone said it had less switches and less block spaces or something. It looks like a better size and seems to have the same number of switches

I completely agree, I respect the enthusiasm and need of people to find new and sophisticated formulas for the expression pedal...but personally I have chosen the line6 products generation after generation because they are raw tools, they are literally war tanks and they bring "Almost" everything I want...I only ask that public opinion does not transform them into devices for ladies! (sarcasm)
People really need to not expect every device to fill every niche. People complaining a floor modeler doesn’t work on their desktop well, complaining a bottom tier device doesn’t have the same features as something 3x the price….what they really want is a fast-ass computer with a bunch of peripherals but it’s not as cool-looking.

That’s great, I love Fargo, definitely one of my top 5 too. I’m from nowhere near ND and I laugh every time I watch it. Leave it to a cop to have no sense of humor and assume anyone who does is on drugs.
I'm a retired cop who was a couple years on the job when it came out. I thought it was hilarious. And sad. :idk

And if I was off duty and thought a couple people were high at a movie I was watching, I'd think to myself, "Hmm, I wonder if those guys are high." And then I'd keep watching the movie because I'm off duty and being high isn't illegal.

Same switches, same DSP. Just not scribble strips, XLR input, combined volume control, and I think one less loop.

Kudos to you sir!

I've laid off the stuff over a decade ago, but I always appreciated this kinda stance from cops. Busting teenagers for possession/using weed will only (potentially) ruin their lives and is not gonna harm any of the dealers (or even mafia) after all. It's like you're shooting at the wrong target.

Btw, Fargo ❤️

Definitely a classic movie and also one of my favorite series. Love the style and humor.

It's also got an additional display mode that I find way easier to decipher under critical lightning conditions.
Line 6 could've added that mode to the Floor as well, but that'd be like admitting they didn't give visibility much of a thought, if at all (because the Floor is horrible under bright lightning conditions, especially under diffuse daylight - my #1 reason for selling it). Had I known this before buying, I'd possibly went with the LT.

Anyhow, the LT still doesn't offer 10 stomp mode, which I used all the time (alternating between that and 4stomp/4snap mode).

I should have left off that last bit. 90% of my interactions with the police have been positive, including while I was high. And I can’t think of the last time I went to the movie theatre not high. But that paranoia does creep in sometimes, does this cop think I’m high? Yes he probably does :rofl

Fargo is funny, nerve wracking, sad, it’s got everything. I think it’s the Coen brothers best movie. No Country For Old Men is way up there too.

If I had to choose my favorite of theirs it would be either O Brother, Where Art Thou or The Big Lebowski. Fargo is great but it's also a heavy, heavy movie and I have to be in the right mood to watch it.

Reading between the lines... is there a Line 6 Fargo amp model coming up? How will it sound?
