not unless its $699
not unless its $699
It must also have below 1 latency otherwise the GTCore is still the first choice for Dawson. There’s many things to consider for him! Built in power supply, small, no latency, no boot time, and more dsp than is needed.not unless its $699
Double Helix with capturing, 1 second boot time, stereo fx loops, AI cab sims, authentically modeled mobile app master volumes, and ChatGPT assisted preset creation confirmed!
Ah, yes. The tangential product is indeed POD Express Black. The stuff I started working on in 2017 is not, nor will anyone see them anytime soon.
I don't know. I don't know if secret squirrel ever accomplished anything outside of trying to get the nukes before hitler did. It almost always backfires in software, like the auto engage bug on that Helix that would have certainly been caught had the beta test pool been significantly bigger or an open beta.No offense at all @bluesbrazil
But I keep wondering about the idea behind posts like this. Do you think he'll go "yeah, sure" and possibly spill the beans weeks before it drops?
1) the competition is always hawking along each and every move (if they're clever enough, that is)
Not development, but the first TRD (Technical Requirements Document, basically the bible for what the project is, what it does, and how it operates) was first published in the fall of 2017. Active development began in late 2020, but it's been a sloooow ramp up, what with COVID, supply issues, building the team, other projects, etc. Still can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but they haven't pulled the plug on us yet, so...So like 10 years of development before it hits the market?
Oh, of course. Already have a list of potential complaints to address in the FAQ.I bet someone is going to complain about that in a YT video when it comes out.

At no point have I ever suggested what we're working on is a replacement for Helix/HX (nor that's it's even hardware). In fact, I can guarantee Helix/HX SKUs will remain in the market once these things actually ship. If they ship!

When it was my universe it was way to real. To real to handle. I started seeing things. Amps and stuff everywhere. The Helix-verse is this wonderful parallel universe where I own more amps and effects pedals than I’ll ever need, but also where 10 minutes equals one hour in our universe.
I made a bunch of presets that lead into other presets, kind of like paths and buildings with hallways and rooms. Each building would be dedicated to a type of effect, like Delay Building, which has something like the BBD Room, Tape Room, Digital Room, etc. Reverb Building, Modulation Building, you could navigate the whole "Helix-verse" with the top row of footswitches in Stomp mode with the HX Preset command doing all of the magic. Bottom row would be dedicated to block toggling. My favorite was the amp torture room.RPG video game taking place in the Helix-verse?

I need to revisit and update it if I still have it, I took over the back end of the Templates setlist on my Helix Floor but can't remember if I've factory reset those presets or not.

FIFYHelix ANDROID app here we go!
FIFY
My favorite was the amp torture room.
I believe so. The Catalyst amp's edit software is on both Android and iOS. Probably depends on what the priorities of the architecture are. Running the cheapest processor chips to make cell phones do 1000 different things, not so much.Is Android capable of reliable real-time audio processing these days?
I mean an editor is one thing, an actual app though?I believe so. The Catalyst amp's edit software is on both Android and iOS. Probably depends on what the priorities of the architecture are. Running the cheapest processor chips to make cell phones do 1000 different things, not so much.
There are a lot of things running off android these days. Some are really surprising.
I was thinking of an editor. A Helix mobile app would need to be nerfed a lot to work more or less.I mean an editor is one thing, an actual app though?
