Just as well as the old ones. The graphic representation of speakers+cab you get on HX Edit is really nice, don't get me wrong, but you can totally get by editing on the device itself.

Works good, im tweaking away on stomp now. For example the mic placement slider displays numbers but also “edge” “cap edge” and “edge” when you reach those points, just as the slider does in Edit.

This! Cabs shmabs! This is the real life improvement in this update, to finaly be able to organically edit stuff on the unit without miles and miles of spiny spiny spiny...

This is why I have the HX Stomp XL as a backup. So I can play in both sandboxes!

That's what I use Native for. Just to stay plugged in to knock stuff like this around... Would be awesome if the stock cabs stop sucking. That has been a big issue wrt to L6 versus the other high end devices in my mind.

Thank you, Line6! It's late here in Spain and I just came from rehearsal, but tomorrow morning I'm updating Native to start fiddling with the new cabs :-D I'll update my Helix LT in a couple of weeks, after my next gig, as I wanna be as safe as possible ^_^U

We chose the closest new cab for all Amp+Cab defaults, including those that don't (yet) have a new matching cab available.

So I'm gathering that we may not need a 5150III with that awesome Invective

Up to the masses, but IMHO, the Invective scratches every 5153 itch and then some.
