Saddening news to hear; but better now, than later. I've had the Meraki on my list for some time (I'm a big Walrus fan), but never got around to taking the plunge.Well, I'm already thinking about returning the Meraki. All the secondary features make it fiddly to use, I had to program a MIDI template for it on my keyboard, I'm having issues with modulation not always working on both channels, it's screwing with my dry tone and the VP4 can get very close to it with very little tweaking on the Stereo BBD setting.
Probably not worth it! I think I'd rather wait for a Timeline MX or something.
It's a great sounding pedal, but imagine having several secondary functions per side that you access by having to set a switch to a particular position before making adjustments to parameters with no visual indication of the current setting. And then you try to adjust them via MIDI, but sometimes it works and sometimes it just doesn't. Then your right delay is wobbly AF and the left delay has zero modulation.Saddening news to hear; but better now, than later. I would be very excited to pick up a Timeline MX, if it ever gets released.
Secondary functions can suck, unless it's fully digital with some kind of display. It's a great sounding pedal, but imagine having several secondary functions per side that you access by having to set a switch to a particular position before making adjustments to parameters with no visual indication of the current setting. What’s it like?I've done a few trades for some Benders of Tone. But this one I bought. Collector Effectors Song Machine MKI/Zonk View attachment 54774
Parametric mids ftw
This just landed.
Ghost Note Audio have absolutely nailed it with this pedal. 80’s alternative modulation in a box. Cocteau Twins, Cure, siouxsie and the banshees, early Cult/Death Cult any 4AD or 80’s post punk (or that Goth word) it’s absolutely sublime.
It's system tuned to goose the circuit. I only step on the footswitch, not the knobs. What’s it like?
I don’t get on with chicken head knobs as they are to easy to move with my feet and a bugger to tape down.
That thing is a real surprise!!!EQD Zoar just came in the doar. Can't wait to try this one out.
