As a pre-birthday gift to myself, I picked up a Peterson StroboPlus HDC Tuner - not exactly a pedal tuner. More like a desktop/workshop tuner.
Also grabbed
Walrus Audio's new Xero (Stereo) Polylooper pedal, which is incredible (but has yet to be delivered).
This one seems to have a learning curve, but so many possibilities!
The tuner is heavy, but not as heavy as the Strobo
Stomp HD. It has a built-in lithium ion battery, which supports charging with the included USB C cable, the same sweetened tunings as the StroboStomp, color-adjustable display, metronome, etc., etc.
I wanted to see if I like the display on this tuner better than the StroboStomp HD, or if the tracking was any quicker, but haven't really done the acid test comparison between the two, just yet. So far, the Turbo Tuners are my favorites.
I can never seem to get a decent picture of the display on any of my tuners :-(.
The Plus HDC has a little kickstand (LOL) so you can stand it up on a tabletop or something. built-in microphone and you can use a wired clip adapter (not included) for other acoustic instrument tuning (without the microphone (like a violin, etc.). Not sure if I'd put that to use, but one never knows.
