It would only be fair to model the SSV2 now.
octaver effects aren’t something I think to use often, but whenever I do, it’s fun to just riff with a droning low note and some tweedly notes thrown into the mix.@eggpl@nt I've got a pretty beaten up POG2 that I should pull out and try match a little closer. Such a great pedal.

I saw the name of the OP on that thread:Somebody recently posted a thread on the Fractal Forums you might want to check out:
Dominic Miller MESA Lonestar Rig - My Songs Tour 2023 - Fractal FM9 Patch
Hello everyone, I recently saw Sting live and could not get over how good Dominic Miller's rig sounded. He played a telecaster pretty much the entire set through two Mesa Lonestars and 2x12 rectifier cabs (in stereo). His main tone was pretty clean and compressed--yet it still sounded full and...forum.fractalaudio.com
That’s cool but how about that Knaggs SSC-J?
You are very much mis-characterizing that.Someone once tried to repackage the wiki as a personal exercise (no profit, etc; this was done by the person to work on a particular skill, though I can’t remember which), and they got mauled by several of the always-online posters on the FAS forum. Lots of accusations of ripping off yek and such.
Well their website is dead, so I can’t argue one way or another. I still don’t understand the hubbub. It was a free, public repackaging of a free, public repackaging of a bunch of free, public posts. You are very much mis-characterizing that.
They were just lifting the content and moving it to their own server.
New Community Tool/Resource
Hi everyone! Over the past couple weeks I have been working on what could be the successor to Yek's Guide to the Fractal Audio Amplifier Models. I found myself playing around in a certain framework again and needed a project to work on. After some thought, I had an idea for a companion site of...forum.fractalaudio.com
It wasn't the wiki. They took literally @yek's amp guide and put it on a website they owned. Verbatim.
For everyone who shit's on the wiki I say to you: put up then. It's a community resource and, honestly, it exists through the hard efforts of @yek alone.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
If I remember rightly, this was what caused me to start my piss take thread called "Is there anything in the QC that wasn't stolen from something else?" thread, and got me banned for "provocative" posting.I was actually the one who called him out on it (since I was still on one of the FB Quad Cortex groups so saw his post at random) and pointed Yek to the thread. Others were praising the guy for his work (without being aware of the ripped off content) which was just not right since all he did was compile it.
I tried to explain to the guy why what he was doing was wrong, but he seemed more pissed off about being caught. It's one thing to refer to content, write your own interpretation of it and provide sources, and a totally other thing just blatantly copy/pasting it and claiming it as your own work.
It's what I always say about you. That provocative British gentleman, always stirring the pot and making people think and question their preconceived notions in this world. If I remember rightly, this was what caused me to start my piss take thread called "Is there anything in the QC that wasn't stolen from something else?" thread, and got me banned for "provocative" posting.

That’s not how it works.Well their website is dead, so I can’t argue one way or another. I still don’t understand the hubbub. It was a free, public repackaging of a free, public repackaging of a bunch of free, public posts.
The preface of the amp guide, written by simviz, very clearly states the guide is a collection of yek’s various forum posts on dedicated amp models. That’s not how it works.
The original content was not a "repackaging of a bunch of free posts" -- the author was the same in both cases. It was their IP and it was stolen. The website creator didn't even credit the source of any of the information until they got blasted for ripping it all off.
