Ok look, y’all—it’s possible I missed a pre-edited version of that post but what I did see, was very clear that this was a learning opportunity for the individual and that the content was from yek’s guide(s). Clearly I’m alone in viewing that as rather innocuous.

You win. That guy sucks. Crucify him.

I'm just speaking as someone whose life is directly affected by piracy and IP infringement all the time. Nothing I can do about it except call it out.

Not bustin’ your balls, you just missed all the teaching time that lead up to that. When it was first posted it wasn’t credited and the guy was arguing “it’s not HIS information, he just collected it off the internet and organized it” and it was about a week of him arguing that he didn’t need to credit anyone as he revised it and I’m assuming removed Cliff’s quotes. He definitely didn’t add any credit to Yek in good faith, he was forced into it.

I’ll have to take your word for it. I certainly didn’t get that kind of vibe from their other posts. Aside from getting a bit defensive and maybe frustrated with the critical feedback, I really didn’t pick up on anything nefarious or dishonest.

And for the love of dog we can drop it now. I hereby promise never to defend that user or their post ever again.
