I'm Curious? when TGF first started out how much talk of Fractal madness was there compared to the insanity today?

A cool feature for inserting blocks in one row presets:

Say you want to put a drive between the input and amp blocks; you create the drive block on the same row in Axe-Edit to the right of your last block. Now, drag its entire row to the left, and when you drop the block, all the other rows will move one space to the right to accommodate it. It works kind of like the Move Block Left function in the Tools menu on the unit.

I didn't know about this forever, until I saw Matt do it in a YouTube video.

Eh, probably wasn’t quite as much just due to the amount of members, but I also think it’s kinda obvious that pretty much all the Fractal users that were once posting at TGP are now keeping Fractal discussion over here and that probably creates the situation where Fractal dominates here.

Been watching a bunch of Sting live concerts from the early 90s lately and really digging Dominic's tones, so decided to revisit my Mesa sounds. He used a Mark III back in the day, but I managed to approximate his clean sound using the Triaxis Green clean mode and paired it with Triaxis Yellow for lead stuff. :chef

I built the whole preset using the Cali 4x12 cab from the Factory bank of IRs, which according to the wiki is actually Cliff's personal cab from back in the day? Sounds great - perfect pairing with the Triaxis. Just used the first IR marked 57 A, I believe.

This is something I've never tried! That would be very handy.
This is one of the shortcuts you definitely need to know. I don’t use everything in that list, but there are a few that I think are essential.

Also, tip for Helix users: on the Helix, pressing the knob is “Enter,” but on Fractal it takes you to layout view, which caused me to jump to different screens constantly by accident. So I disabled the push functionality of the knob, and rely on double-tapping enter to go to layout view. Works great for me.
