@blandified The biggest advantage of what fractal does is being able to have the sound of an amp dialed in to it's sweet spot without the associated volume, so I tend to prefer "amp gain" too. Stabbing multiple low gain drives into a clean amp can mimic the multiple gain stages modern high gain amps have to some degree.

TS - OCD, 2x Griddle Cake and King of Tone - Klon are some of favourite combos.

The FM9 has a dedicated processor for reverb. You can most likely add a second reverb after everything without a spike in processing.

Yep, you can run 2x amp, delay and HQverb per preset with minimal change in the overall CPU usage.
 
@FractalAudio Compared to the real amp it seems like I have to push the impedence curve to make things a little brighter.
I've seen graphs you've posted of the difference between the measured response and the model and they were flat.
Maybe my Behringer A500 poweramp is not entirely flat?
