I couldn’t get used to the room sound before, always used a separate reverb block. I’ll check it out again on this version.

Just realized that this Fw dropped at a perfect time for me. I’ve got some extra time on my hands next week which virtually never happens. Breaking my rule and installing a beta for sure now. I’ve got a few weeks until my next gig anyway.

IIRC it's not necessary because these aren't user-exposed settings that are changing. But you'll want to save the preset after loading it otherwise it does some background update stuff every time you load the preset and you'll see the inverted preset number on the display telling you the preset was last saved with an older firmware version.

Potentially; I’ll have to drag some shit into my studio so I can hear both units through the same speakers.

I kinda did a little digging into it when the drive update first hit the III and I did those Gilmour solos using the Fuzz Face/Colorsound drives, but I’ve never A/B’d them with a previous FW.

I am loving the JVM OD1 orange as of late , just used that to track a guitar part and it was great had the gain I think at 4.5 , not tone wars Grumblatt levels but still pretty gainy even on that channel
