That’s why you go to WalmartI usually like to burp and taste it than to fart and waste it
You go to Wallmart to do this
The one thing that still seems to be missing from the list of Fractal drives is a killer high gain pedal emulation.I still need to get a killer high gain tone going on, but so far I’m stacking the Timmons drive into the Suhr Riot LED and it’s almost satisfying the itch.
Now all I need is even just one of the following amp models and my Fractal world will be complete:
We’re so badly lacking in low watt boutique amp models.
- /13 JRT 9/15
- Benson Monarch
- Bad Cat Cub
- Matchless Lightning
- Top Hat Club Royal
I would also settle for the clean channel of the Hot Cat

I really wish they'd include one based on the Megalith Delta pedal. That thing is killer and between the Contour knob and EQ Shift three position switch has several very useful tone sculpting options.

Seriously until recently I thought it was Ho-Tone...The correct pronunciation is Ho-tone.

Plus, the bass is solid and tight even up to 2:00 which in my experience is hard to find in a gain pedal.

Disabling the power amp sims in the amp block effectively gives you preamp pedals
What would you get from one of those that can’t be had with one of the existing models? There’s at least six or so apps in there already that overlap with these a lot. Just curious what you think is lacking as far as tones/feels in the existing lineup.

I’ll take a Monarch!
Great thing about the Monarch (pre recent power-scaling version) in terms of component modelling, is that it's a very simple amp circuit like most of the Benson amps. There's also schematics online, various DIY build threads and gut shots.
The only sub-20 watt boutique amp in the whole thing right now is the Maz 8.And there are no AC15 derivatives.
The JRT is an octal preamp with a very unique feel and tone, the Monarch is its own thing, and the Bad Cat and Matchless are both essentially boutique AC15s
The Cub or the Lightning would be my first choice as I love boutique AC15s and we don’t have that.
