Anyone found any of the stocking stuffers yet?
That was my thought regarding the Megalith Delta. Not using it in front of an amp model but to use in front of an actual tube amp.It almost seems silly to include high gain pedals with so many high gain amp offerings, but for this particular application of running into the front end of an amp, I definitely wouldn't mind a 5150 pedal tossed in there!
Damn..... haven't tried the factory presets for a while so thought I would give them a spin.
They truly have them sounding great! Got to one called "Shiva on the Rocks" on the "Driven" scene, and lost a couple hours last night.......![]()
Fm3 owner waiting……..> lolI'm going to spend a bit of time today updating my Axe 3 and installing the new bank of factory presets, which I'm sure will result in a lot of mindless noodling...

Fortunately I’m not running into the overloaded preset issue.I know the feeling, my first Fractal was the FM3. That led me to the rack unit. Then I joined a band and used the FM3 for that, but grew quickly frustrated because it couldn't handle many of the presets that I had built in the Axe 3, so I eventually bought an FM9T for the band...

The FM3 is adequate for my current situation![]()
It’s a slippery slope for sureI would have been fine with the FM3 as well, but once I bought the rack unit I went deep into the complex stuff and that was all she wrote...

I should have been more specific answering this part of your comment:
It’s actually much different than what you get with going to a higher wattage. The feel is very different from a high wattage amp, it’s still got that sag and compression, and richer harmonic swirl and character, that you get from a lower wattage amp.
An AC15 has a more raw and open sound to it than an AC30. The same is usually true for 15 watt amps compared to 30 watt
Santa brought me solitude for Christmas. I love you, Santa!![]()
Haven't had the time at home to myself as I would like to of late. I have
been home alone all day today, though.
Put a Dimarzio Dreamcatcher into one of my Charvels and now I am high-gaining
my face right the F off.
Built up 3 new Presets from scratch in the FM3 using various Dyna Cabs with a
JVM410 Orange OD2, Mark V Red, and even an ENGL Savage. My palm mutes have
never been this epic.![]()
That's awesome! I am happy for ya.
I love people (mostly!l ), especially my family and friends.... but enough was enough.
I needed today.
They can start to squeeze the juice out of me again starting tomorrow.![]()
Fractal pedals are the shit…….you’ll love it…….An EV-2 showed up for me yesterday, looking forward to checking it out I’m incredibly frustrated with all of my current expression pedals.

The Fractal expression pedals are very well designed and constructed. I’ve never owned the EV-2, but I have five EV-1 pedals. An EV-2 showed up for me yesterday, looking forward to checking it out I’m incredibly frustrated with all of my current expression pedals.
