That was my thought regarding the Megalith Delta. Not using it in front of an amp model but to use in front of an actual tube amp.

Damn..... haven't tried the factory presets for a while so thought I would give them a spin.
They truly have them sounding great! Got to one called "Shiva on the Rocks" on the "Driven" scene, and lost a couple hours last night.......

I'm going to spend a bit of time today updating my Axe 3 and installing the new bank of factory presets, which I'm sure will result in a lot of mindless noodling...

I know the feeling, my first Fractal was the FM3. That led me to the rack unit. Then I joined a band and used the FM3 for that, but grew quickly frustrated because it couldn't handle many of the presets that I had built in the Axe 3, so I eventually bought an FM9T for the band...

Fortunately I’m not running into the overloaded preset issue.

I would have been fine with the FM3 as well, but once I bought the rack unit I went deep into the complex stuff and that was all she wrote...

My rigs before getting the axe-fx standard rack unit were all pretty simple. An amp, a few drive pedals, a wah, and a delay. The Axe unit ended my simple rig days…. Everything after that has been really complex. And I maxed out an FM9 Mk2 Turbo immediately on the first patch build lol.

Haven't had the time at home to myself as I would like to of late. I have
been home alone all day today, though.
Put a Dimarzio Dreamcatcher into one of my Charvels and now I am high-gaining
my face right the F off.
Built up 3 new Presets from scratch in the FM3 using various Dyna Cabs with a
JVM410 Orange OD2, Mark V Red, and even an ENGL Savage. My palm mutes have
never been this epic.

Put a Dimarzio Dreamcatcher into one of my Charvels and now I am high-gaining
my face right the F off.

I’m enjoying a quiet day of solitude myself today, which has been a much needed break after a couple of brutal weeks at work. The plan for this afternoon is to fire up the little Marshall combo and raid my boxes of pedals and build a small board for it-just because I find that kind of thing relaxing.

I hear ya on that one. I have to deal with people all day long, and getting a break from that is precious.

The Fractal expression pedals are very well designed and constructed. I’ve never owned the EV-2, but I have five EV-1 pedals.

I've been away from my rig since a last-minute gig on Monday night, and I'm off until New Year's Day with maybe a half dozen songs to learn for the karaoke gig.
I'm diving in on a couple of new presets next week - I signed on for a night of Alice in Chains and Soundgarden at the end of January.
