This is probably the 3rd or 4th "Drive block overhaul", so it's not really a new thing... Although I suspect that (just like with tube amps) his knowledge and methods are expanding.The new dive block improvements and fuzzes are cool.
At last Cliff is experimenting with transistor devices, to me it says (edit: more) solid state amps will come soon.
Were there improvements to the drive block in general in this beta?
Yesterday I decided to give up on Fractal for doing the “pedal platform” thing because I just wasn’t liking the drive pedals as stand alone overdrive/distortion.
Today I’d swear the whole block sounds much better and more natural. Maybe my ears were just shot yesterday?
Larry’s playing always blows me away. And he does a lot with only three switches on that FM3:

I learned that this summer and it was really life changing.I did learn you could get to whatever block you want (eventually) by hyper clicking the edit knob. That was a nice thing I probably should have known 6 years ago![]()

Wait until you learn you can double click Edit to go to the previous block...I learned that this summer and it was really life changing.
