If it isn’t broke
Don’t fix it
Give the CCV 2B and 2C models a go if you want JCM-y tones that go well with lower tunings. Trick with those models is to turn the drive up a tad and lower the input trim to get the perfect balance of the bright cap’s bite and the desired amount of gain.
What did YJM say? Thanks. Those are the Cameron models, right? I have tried so many "Based on a Marshall"
spinoffs. Some sound great here at home, I get all excited, and then they get buried, or are
too bloated and tubby, in a full band setting.
I'll definitely give them a shot next week, though. Thanks!

Good rec. I also like the Bosom Boost for tightening and boosting.
After distortion too
The Buxom is definitely one of my favs and one of my go to channels in the drive blockI love the Buxom for its sheer versatility, plus as much gain as you'd ever need. It's really extraordinary. The tight control is really what makes it over the top powerful. If I mess with that combined with the bass, I can get the ideal low end out of any amp. I love that pedal.
It's funny, there are many overdrive, boost, and distortion pedal models I think are incredible in the Axe-FX III, but instead of using them, I always tend eventually to switch another amp that inherently solves whatever problem I'm aiming to solve. What an ideal world to live in; just choose your solution.
Has any one used the Whammy after the amp and cab , since we can pick the input source I figured maybe it might work ok ?After distortion too
It will work but will be definitely more trebly. Maybe bewteen amp and cab will be a bit betterHas any one used the Whammy after the amp and cab , since we can pick the input source I figured maybe it might work ok ?
Ya I will try that and see , since FM9 only has the one pitch block that would allow me to leave it after the ampIt will work but will be definitely more trebly. Maybe bewteen amp and cab will be a bit better
Nah, sounds cack!!After distortion too
Yesterday I wanted to assign a control switch on an hotone ampero (2 switches) to select multiples block activation at once.Yes, as I said above, a midi loopback cable goes from the midi out port to the midi in port. This allows you to use the CS Midi window to have a control switch send any CC# you choose, to any block you choose(as long as that block is listed in the midi\remote set up screen), no matter what scene or preset you might be on.
First of all, I'm working on an Axe-III, so can only hope that everything will work the same on an FM-3 regarding the loopback cable and CS Midi.Yesterday I wanted to assign a control switch on an hotone ampero (2 switches) to select multiples block activation at once.
If I set the Cs in the blocks I lose the ability to switch them the normal way. So no use
I saw cs midi, but it didn’t work, then I heard about the loopback.
Does the loopback can work even if a have a xsonic airstep already controlling things on my fm3.
Does this would work with fm3 midi out > Airstep midi in > Airstep midi out > fm3 midi in ?
It’s too bad that we need a loopback or maybe having the ability to not lose the triggering of an effect by the standard method if we also use a cs
Actually there's a way to "move" it within a preset using a couple feedback send and returns... but that's kinda pointless now that we have gapless presets switchingYa I will try that and see , since FM9 only has the one pitch block that would allow me to leave it after the amp
Technically if it need a bit more shaping I could put an EQ after it and set it to auto engage with the whammy pedal

I don't have an Airstep either, so don't know about that.
What I can say though, is that using CS Midi with a loopback cable has no effect on the standard methods of triggering an effect.....everything works just as it did before, as they are totally separate.
Hope this helps.
It might have something to do with how your CS per Scene settings are ....go to the Controllers tab in Edit and to CS per Scene......there's three different settings to try.So I finally found one midi cable in my « I may need it later » cables box .
I tried the loopback with the Airstep and it’s working fine!!
Expect one strange behavior, it happens with the ampero hotone and also if I use a onboard cs on the fm3.
If I activate the cs midi on one scene great, i go on another scene and go back to the cs midi one I have to press two times to get it back to normal (without any modifications done by the cs midi)
Any way to just have one switching to do or just get back the scene without the cs midi switch?
