I suspect he may be helping out a bit on the FM3 side as the FM9 is caught up and he mentioned the other day the spring verb port is somewhat problematic due to cpu constraints

I am amazed how many Axe-Fx 3 and FM3 units I've seen in stores here in Japan. Right next to Boss, Kemper, Line6, Tonex, NeuralDSP. The Kemper Player I haven't seen anywhere on display. Or FM9 for that matter.

I noticed the same thing when I was in Tokyo in 2018. They had Fractals on display in Ishibashi in Shibuya, IIRC. And a bunch of awesome guitars. Found an old photo

I’ve actually seriously considered doing that. I have the FM9, I have the FC12, but I have commitment issues…

I'm trying to determine if I want an FM9 or an Axe FX III and a midi foot controller.

I used my FC6 with my FM9 on a gig last Friday and then I got to thinking I could probably make this stacked FC12-FM9 thing work. I could side-by-side them — not enough room for that. But stacked? Could work…

I’d put the FC12 and the EVs on a board, I think. With some supports for the FM9 to rest on behind the FC12.

I’d need the FC12/EV stuff to be separate from the FM9. Can’t always bring it all. And for weight purposes, I’d want them separated, I think.

Need to think it through more. But this is very feasible.

I think you want at least an FC6. More switches is just better.
