Ditto for today...Jesus! This thread went to shit today!
I prefer the 5150 II over the EVH Stealth model by a small margin, due to a more controllable gain in the former, ime.does anyone here like the 5150 amps more then the evh amps now?
“Hey gang!” “Now you’re NOT going to want to miss THAT video!”OH NOES I NEED A PARALLEL CHAIN LOOKS LIKE IT'S 5 SUBMENUS BACK TO THE SIGNAL CHAIN TYPE PICKER I BETTER WATCH A DOUGB VIDEO!
You can already sort of do that; there's this older thread that I followed to color-code amps by gain.....I think, rather than whatever might slow the loading of amps in the hardware, it would be great instead to have both manufacturer and gain groupings available in Axe-Edit only.

Organizing amps by color/gain
I went thru all of the amps and organized them by color corresponding to gain levels. But that was on my old PC. Is that data saved into a file somewhere that I can migrate over to the new PC, or do I have to start over? Thanks!forum.fractalaudio.com
But I completely agree -- anything that makes amps more accessible is helpful, whether that's consistent naming, ability to sort / group in different ways, etc. And I'm okay if the editor diverges a bit from the hardware; I definitely use it more for editing / creating / exploring tones....
Day 3 in the house, and Drew still thinks grouping by manufacturer is pointless.
I think he meant himselfThat’s inaccurate, bitch!
I have mine grouped by manufacturer because I think they should be, I just utilize a different way of doing it than what was being discussed.

I avoided replying something along the lines of "George being another c word Orv would use" vid links. FWIW; I would put the EVH 5150IIIs with the PV5150s. Mainly because they were the originals? Which probably isn't helping this conversation
