I think the correct way would be a separate grouping because most people don't know EVH is a Fender brand.
I guess there is something wrong with me. Because I really struggle to let things like this lie. Maybe I need therapy... but when reviews in 2007 and 2012 are plastered with the Fender name, as in this one:

It is pretty clear to me that the vast majority of people should most certainly know that EVH is a Fender brand. I mean that first link clearly says at the top: "The latest amp designed by Edward Van Halen, this time built by Fender"

So if someone doesn't know that EVH is made by Fender... then sorry, but they're a fucking moron.

And why does all this matter?? Simply that the contention being put forth here is that naming and ordering the amps based on their original manufacturer is the ideal. And I'm saying, not necessarily so.

For example - I'd rather have all of the 5150 variants listed together, regardless of manufacturer. I'd rather have all of the tweed combo stuff listed together. Because regardless of manufacturer, they are similar amps... so I want to preference similarity in terms of design and gain.

I mean, ultimately it doesn't matter at all. This is all pontification waste-the-day bullshit. But I really cannot let this go unchallenged. I'm an arsehole!!
