Haha! In fairness,. I think it is more about pronunciation than anything to do with an accent, and
it is something that Leon himself has commented on numerous times. Those of us who grew up
in the 80s understand the VHS versus Beeta debate.

Oh yes, he's quite masterful. I believe he's used it as a noun, verb, adjective, adverb, and preposition.

I had a girlfriend literally break up with me for using that word in relation to a woman who earned it. I said,
something like, "Can you believe her? What a C**t!?"

If I had to describe this Cygnus X-2 in one word it would be "tight". Not tight like compressed in dynamics, but tight like all the frequencies are firmly hold in its place, without unwanted dispersion or things hanging here and there. Like when a porn-star-like MILF grabs you by the balls. It is tight and you cannot escape, but you don't want to.

That’s is a good description it is tighter for sure on many amps
The low end overall is much more pleasing and clear

Has anybody that uses AustinBuddy’s Live Gold presets upgraded to FM9 v4 Beta? I have many of his presets that I start with, and just add a looper or wah or something easy and I’m done. Sounds great for my setup. I’d love to check out Cygnus X-2, but don’t know if it will mess things up, requiring more re-do/tweaking than i want to mess with.

I emailed Buddy and he said “hold off, I’ll have reworked all the presets for V4 in 2023.”. But I’d love to check it out now if it’s not going to really mess anything up. Not in a band at the moment, so no worries there…

Back everything up, give it a try, and if it messes them up beyond what you can tolerate, obviously you can always revert.

I have always read people saying I got stuck on this one model for and hour and that not been my experience but last night I started playing the Nuclear Tone
That is a thing of beauty some responsive and dynamic lost an hour just playing w different verbs

Since 21 was getting all these rave reviews, I decided to once again review the factory presets, and it's been 3 days and I'm still not done. I couldn't tell you which amps I'd land on (well one was the JM45, I remember that one) and get "stuck", but there were quite a few, and some that have never caught my ear, like a couple Fenders (I generally don't care for 'em.) My Majesty was even getting some Strat vibes. (J/K- they have their place. Drew!)

I need to start either writing down which ones I like, or start saving them to a new slot.

Set lists my friend
Write down your top 20 and throw them in a set list then you can just pull them up easy

I find a lot of the amps to have more of the individual characters now
Like Deizel and Uber have that kind of loose low end resonance
The Marshall’s are leaner in the lows and percussive
I think it’s a great update not quite sure where he will go next but this one had some fairy dust for sure
