CorOS 2.0 when?

Damn. They ain’t playing with 2.0. Wasn’t expecting that to be in it.

Might be the first time an update has exceeded expectations. (Assuming that it drops before EOY)
That’s a great addition.

But “exceeding expectations”? Really? Didn’t they already say it was implemented. Or going to be. Then it wasn’t. Then they ignored the “when” question forever. And now with 2.0 it’s going to finally show up…

I don’t think anyone was expecting this in 2.0

In Neural-World this looks like a really big update. (Which have been few and far between, but make this update all the more signficant imo)

All I see is more pictures and words....
Talk to me when this is actually released, until then they have zero credibility.

it does look like it’s going to be a huge update.

I guess when you work at a snail’s pace for so long, it’s easier to surprise your customers. :idk

The March 2020 video shows a virtual finger/touch dragging the hybrid tiles.... and I must ask, on what does this demo is running on?
It sure as hell not running on a QC.

Emulator for sure. (Or something like that - but certainly not on the device).
But I have to ask - if they were to that point = what has taken them 2.5+ years?

Maybe it wasn’t actually developed (the underlying logic / code) - but it’s all just GUI ”for show”. Sleight of hand?

Well, the blog posts are extraordinary - we know that much. ;)

I'd better just finish reading this thread. I haven't decided whether to defend NDSP or make fun of them yet.

["why not both" meme]

Almost assuredly an emulator. It is very common, and not hard, to set up emulation software (used for development) on standalone ARM devices such as the QC
I think even this is optimistic. I'd guess it's just a design tool of some kind. A glorified Adobe Flash presentation.

Emulator for sure.

Yep.
