$450 OMG.
He damn near doubled his cashflow from the amp with me. No wonder he
seemed so stoked.
He also told me a local guitar store in Grand Rapids area would not even
consider it. It was a 2 x 12 combo and they said they wouldn't even take a
flyer on it. Insane!

Solid state, yes - I'm afraid so... People can't seem to appreciate nice and musical amps without teh' toobz anymore.

Thanks man. Its a legit '62, second oldest piece of vintage gear I own. Honestly though, it's probably the most uncooperative guitar in the stable. Needs frets, probably a new nut and tuners too. I just have a hard time thinking about doing any work to it since it's 100% original and untouched.

These two distinct Clean(ish) Channels on the Roadster are wreaking havoc in my world.
Can have a Tweed Clean with a Telecaster, and then a Fat Clean for a Strat/LP.
This amp was a steal! WTF??!!

I dig that Silverburst!! Is is stock or have you swapped PU's?
I have an Epi Silverburst Custom and put a Gibson 498T in the bridge and it really sings plus gets nasty when needed. My other bandmates told me they love the way it sounds now.

You're stirring up even more gas than I've had to pick up another one
Especially curious how it would sound through some other speakers that I've evolved into. I literally only ever ran mine with T75s (the ones originally in the madison, and the 1960 4x12 I used to have) and it sounded awesome obviously, but I really don't care for T75s that much. bet it would rip with my current redback/creamback setup

Yeah, I am getting some Creambacks into it pronto. Both the M65 and H75 have been my
favourite current production speaker for some time now. I am dialed into those, so I can't
wait to see what the results are.
I have them here, just need to commit to doing it. Next shitty-ass day where it rains and
the wind blows 30+
