Becoming Led Zeppelin

Saw it last night in IMAX. Anyone else go see it?

I liked the focus on the early days and each member’s background and how they all came together as the reformed Yardbirds and then Zeppelin.

Never knew Robert had some early bands and success. But then was practically homeless and estranged from his family.

The Bonzo lost interview was the cherry on top I think. You could tell how heartfelt it was as the remaining guys listened to his audio on camera.

And probably the most anyone has seen John Paul Jones talk on camera haha.

I walked away really pleased with the film.

Saw this last night. Definitely liked it, although it was very sterilized. But was really cool to see the production efforts that went into the first few albums.

I had a great time watching it, really enjoyed it. Helped put those first two albums and everything that came before them into perspective. Loved the focus on the early days.
