Video Games

I just read a bunch of internet ding-dongs on Reddit trying to claim Ciri is 'uglified', masculine, and even trying to show she's trans or something in the new Witcher trailer, because she doesn't look like a creepy sex doll.

Maybe I'm just gay or something but if I met a woman who looked like that in RL I would let her sit on my face. :idk

That game really stands alone for me, I’ve never played anything else like it. The story is remarkably original and had me hooked throughout, the graphics are outstanding and that soundtrack brings a whole different type of immersion to it.

When you come out of a BT incident, the rain clears and the sun comes out, then one of those somber Low Roar tunes starts playing, damn. Multiple emotions being evoked as a result of the graphics and soundtrack alone, never mind the story. The isolation/desolation, the keep on keeping on.

It certainly gets more fun as time goes on. When you start building the zip lines and getting around the map quicker there’s some freedom in that, just be cautious not to over utilize them or you start missing out on those walking scenes with the great music.

Also, don’t afraid of the MULEs, each take 2-3 punches and they’re down for the count while never really ganging up on you too much to handle them. If you get quick with snagging a case and throwing it at another MULE you can blast through a horde of them pretty quickly and pick up a ton of supplies in the process.

I’ve played it 3 or 4 times now and each time I recognize stuff I missed on previous plays. Can’t wait for the sequel!!
Agree with everything, well… can’t really agree on things I haven’t seen/played yet as im still in the introduction levels (orders). But yeah, the cinematic style/music and storytelling got me emotionally hooked from the start. I think this game was written for people like me that are quiet, sensitive, introvert, pretentious, philosophical etc etc.
Every detail in this game, style and play, just fits with how I am as a person.

Oh and the “online” part of the game is seriously awesome, as well as the Mule npc stuff. It’s like the writers (or kojima himself) intentionally wants to highlight all the good and the bad in social media and the impact it has on our lives and the game portrays and uses these aspect in a genius way. I am recognizing myself in Sam in that sometimes (most of the time actually) I want to be alone and isolated, disconnected from everything that social media is. And sometimes I just want to receive a “like” from someone I can’t see and don’t know, and it means the world.

Despite all that you still sexually objectified her 🤣

Only partially kidding. But yeah that's the Internet these days. It's best to watch things you are excited about with comments off 😔

Cyberpunk went on sale a couple weeks ago so I finally got the PS5 version. Definitely an improvement from the PS4 version but found it funny there’s still some basic bugs in the game they haven’t resolved yet.

I’ll be playing it again in a short amount of time as I realized how different the gameplay is depending on which background you pick for your character. I was Street kid the first time, Corpo last week and next will be Nomad. This was my first time with the DLC, which made it a bit more fun than an average playthrough as it was integrated into the game rather than a post-game DLC.
Banger game, i have corpo to do. I did nomad and embraced it. But PL felt slightly disconnected from the Nomad role playing style. I strongly suspect going all in on RP as corpo together with PL at the appropriate time in the story is a great combination.

I guess I did. Lol.

I was just trying to point out I'd rather a real woman than a cartoon.

I was actually quite confused at first; I forgot there was a DLC at all, so I initially thought just playing as a Corpo changed the storyline that much when I was playing parts I never played previously.

I know next time I won’t try to spread out the build so evenly. I’m not much of an RPG guy so a lot of the specific build stuff eludes me, I tend to try to balance everything out. Next time I’ll go much harder on the cyberware side of things. My favorite part of the game is figuring out how to take down as many people without firing a bullet.
