What a great concert! While he was no Eddie, Sammy was no slouch on guitar.

"Jump" was a hit song for many reasons.

It's hard to overstate how huge an album 5150 was coming on the heels of Roth leaving and no-one knowing
what was going to become of the band.

Hager could really sing (n spite of his habit of always pushing his upper range), was a talented songwriter, and, although he was clearly having a blast, never came across as buffoonish and over the top like Diamond Dave had become by then.
