Trying to play a 6-string song on a 4-string

I can’t stop listening to this Thundercat song and wanted to attempt it on a 4-string after seeing Nate Navarro do it (because that’s logical, find a fucking virtuoso on an instrument I can barely play and say “I wanna do that!”). I need to learn how to dial in a good envelope filter for this song, he used a Moogerfooger on the original and at best I’m getting a half-ass auto wah.



Tricky to play, but the occasional time I hit the right notes it’s a blast!
