I fatigued my nose last night checking out my friend's garden.






He's trying to squeeze another week to 10 days out of them and I am like,
"Dude, a couple of these are ripe and ready."

Same dude who owns an Helix and Headrush Prime. Somehow we are fast
friends of 20+ years in spite of all of our disagreements on protocol and gear.

First Ascent, the tall purple plant that I have been documenting. This is it's pre harvest hair cut, then popped into a tub, then machine trimmed and placed on a drying rack.

All Done!

On the Rack!!! Ooooohhhhhhhh!

Only 10 more to go.....yay!!!!

Them older dudes do that....I learned a long time ago, especially up here ..if they are ready, waiting just leads to loss and lesser flavor. Just me though.

I had 12 auto flowers and didn't know it...but it was a blessing.....some of mine still have another week to 10 days ... ideally.

He knows more than everyone else does..... just like me.

He does---in my view, and like you say---sacrifice quality trying to magically squeeze
more yield out of plants that have clearly peaked.

I am also like, "Prune off that lower shit that won't amount to anything and
is just robbing your good flower of energy and nutrients."

He's all, "Why would I do that?"

"I just told you why!!"

Also...air flow ......I wrestled with many in my way through this lifestyle, and I am very thankful that my wife and I have it down the way we do ...it's been a really nice pace this year.

I have dealt with my share of those whom know, and then they come asking questions later when it's too late...and they want to know how to save their shitty product.

I hate grow shops and all those wanna be know it alls. I came up when knowledge was rare and sparce, and when losing a garden meant more than a financial loss ... Everyone has their own ideas.....and sometimes people are lucky.

I try my best every year, and it get better every year....that's all I can ask for. Very thankful this year.

Supposedly, it's supposed to be as high as 38% THC.....which I don't believe, but that's what I read ...

I tasted some last night and it was very nice...super stoney.......very interesting.

Everything I have tried this year is a banger, so I am very pleased. And I still have 5 more known heavy hitters left to do....

Perk of a trimming machine.

Fresh dried resin hash from the tumbling fingers.....this is just from one plant. I usually don't keep it to smoke...but this one was special, and it tastes amazing.
