Not so fast. Audible. Original drummer/friend went home from work sick
at Lunch. So last minute text to Kevin, who did the gig with us this past
Summer, to see if he can fight the snow and come out tonight.

Has a 40+ mile drive one way. He's a trooper, though, and plans to come.

How much snow did you guys get? Down here in MA it wasn't much - maybe 2 inches.

Lots. Most of our first batch from Thanksgiving weekend melted,
but it has been snowing for the past 24-36 hours so we are getting
it all back.

4 wheel drive is pretty much mandatory at this point. Still
sounds like everyone will be showing up to jam tonight,
including our original drummer, and maybe even Downsouth
Dave who has healed up enough to want to come and beat
on a bass for the evening.

I kind of like trudging through the powder to get to practice.
Makes me feel more like a bad ass than I am.

Holiday Break for the band, since we all have Family and Friends coming to stay.

Looks like we are reconvening January 2nd.

Looks like everyone is braving the elements to get out tonight and get our
busts to practice for the 1st time in 4 weeks. That's an epic and extended break
for us. I don't think we've missed getting together that long since we've been
jamming.

I have a couple of new Presets I want to check out with the band. See how shitty
my ears are at dialing in band tones in a solo setting.

We just took some time off for the Holidays, and then an extra week
because of the respiratory crud floating indoors everywhere right now.

Hope you guys get back on it without any unexpected delays, Barry! Have

I took the PRS back. I just didnt like the volume knob so close to where I like to put my hand. Maybe another one some day, but not right now.

of new cheesy-ass tunes that made me roll my eyes instantly.

I'll suck it up. I always do.

Being off for 4 weeks was SO noticeable. Showed me how easily we can lose our edge.
At least I can. Have to keep that blade sharpened.

When I was gigging regularly I would play through the most challenging songs on my own on weeks we had off just to stay up on everything. I just wish the rest of the band had been doing that.
