Apart from the "fun twist" still being a mystery, this would check out with DI's teaser info. A product like that might come in handy in certain situations, yet we're very probably not the primary target audience.

If that's what it's gonna be, I'll take that as a sign the HX firmware/software is here to stay, and won't end up left for dead when some kind of "next gen flagship" is released in the coming years. This makes me happy.

EDIT: Since I "only" have the HX FX and Native, a HX One, if it includes all the preamp models, could still tickle the GAS part of my brain. Damn it...

The odd part though why not call it pod go Jam or something , I remember DI saying for it to be HX it has to be a certain thing
Maybe HX one is new effects unit
Or perhaps HX amps / cabs only
At any rate obvious the Reddit guy was legit and has some sort of scoop and seemed to indicate price was less than stomp so in the 400-500 range

From what I recall, a "HX Amps" was deemed highly unlikely in the past.

I don’t think it is this at all, but I’m imagining an ipad type Helix Native app and interface that’s small and portable and bus powered.

While Line6 have made audio interfaces in the past, I don't see why they'd jump into that game when that market is pretty saturated as is, at least in the budget end which I would assume they would aim for.

They don't have great round-trip latency though. Great if you want to record with real-time monitoring from the Helix and USB 7&8 being separated for re-amping later, but as an input for Plini-X etc Helix floor isn't the best option, which is a shame because Iike it's input.

Yeah - as I said, I don’t think it’s what it is, it’s just the image the name HX One conjures up. But I think RTL or even acting as a primary interface isn’t the main priority of guitar modellers. Maybe a purpose built product would prioritise that more

I think the delineation was HX products all share the same firmware releases, whereas Pod Go etc aren't necessarily going to stay in sync with new HX models/effects. So if this is some kind of trimmed up box - it should have access to all of the HX stuff in some shape or form. Maybe it is an interface with HX Native included.
