New Gibson colors

i don’t know, I don’t work for Gibson marketing. I just know that a lot of time and thought goes into marketing campaigns at any company. Everything is calculated to maximize returns on the investment.

Probably the nicest match. Still think the 80's stone-washed denim look is hot garbage. But that is preference.

I know I already shit in this thread once, but I bet if you colored that with a blue crayon horizontally across the top it’d look exactly the same. :rofl

The inverness green and pelham blue are pretty tasty. They remind me of the early 90's limited colors - my Dad owned a "mocha" LP that got stolen from his workshop along with a partscaster I was halfway through assembling when I was 15 or 16? Sweet sounding guitar, I remember it weighing a ton.

I don’t have enough guitars to have a crazy Les Paul color. I like it more traditional.

The lighter color transparent finishes with the natural back are interesting but remind me more of PRS.

My PRS McCarty has a one piece top on it. Very seldom and rarely seen, in my experience. I have had
other players check it out and see if they can find a seam. No one ever has. It is not all flamey or quilty.
Very plain top. But still a one piece Maple top on it.

How often have you seen, or do you see, one piece tops, @Eagle ?? :idk

Mark Knophlers Pensa Suhr carved top has a one piece but it’s very rare.
