It's rather "let's make sure you can never repair your cable, so you have to buy new ones in case damage happens".
It looks like you can just screw off the cap, looks basically like a Switchcraft plug with fancy looking plating.

My major beef with this is that no capacitance specs are reported on the website. Do not buy guitar cables that don't report capacitance per meter or per feet on the product page. You are likely being sold something subpar with a bunch of audiophile mumbo jumbo descriptions.

Not sure, because even if so, there's very little to ensure strain relief, so maybe everything is stuffed with some kinda goop (there's some cable manufacturers doing it like that).
Anyhow, I'm sure this will be expensive - and likely not worth that very expenses.
