This amp is seriously impressive. I'd be happy to answer any questions you guys have. I don't know that I'm going to post any clips, but I'll definitely be recording with it soon.
Sure thing. This is my current collection. I'm a bit of a Mesa fanboy if you couldn't tell. I don't have a ton of amps like some other guys but I think these have got it where it counts, for me at least.Congrats!
Can we ask what other amps you might be able to compare it against?
It's a Mark III I rescued and gave a new home. It's in a wine taurus shell Mesa made for it a couple years ago. Pretty great company to support a 30 year old amp like that.what iteration is that bottom Boogie? Is that a wine red headshell?
If my Tone-X refund would show up after the device has been sitting with them for 11 days; I might have the strength to pull a trigger somewhere.I can feel both the agony and the excitement from @JiveTurkey at the sight of this.
Hopefully he can swing for the fences and get one soon.![]()
You fucking better.I don't know that I'm going to post any clips
Yeah. It's been in their possession @mbenigni since March 17th. Not happy. If my Tone-X refund would show up after the device has been sitting with them for 11 days; I might have the strength to pull a trigger somewhere.

From who?Yeah. It's been in their possession @mbenigni since March 17th. Not happy.
No sign of a refund here, either. I was a bit slower in returning mine, though. I'll give them to the end of the week before I start harassing customer service.Yeah. It's been in their possession @mbenigni since March 17th. Not happy.
Per support email I got yesterday morning:No sign of a refund here, either. I was a bit slower in returning mine, though. I'll give them to the end of the week before I start harassing customer service.
I know you’re asking DD, but to me it doesn’t sound like a Recto. It sounds good, but not a recto. I think it sounds more like the DC series, which I used to have. That too was supposed to be where Mark meets Recto, but it’s not what I think of. It’s its own thing. So @Desertdweller how do you like Mark VII mode? Does it sound like a recto since you have a solid frame of reference there?
