Got a working one today. I'm just a rock, hard rock kinda guy. Nothing modern heavy. Reason I say this is this amp can get great lower to midgain thrills. Really dynamic and feels great to play. I likey. To me its a Marshall.

The 2203x with Mr Scary mod and mildly juiced with a Kloner is as good as any Marshall could be. Covers all kinds of ground right from the guitar. Love it.

Yep!! Same here. It’s a keeper. I think it’s reputation for the AIC stuff makes people understandably think it’s probably a gained out one trick pony but it’s not at all.

Quoting my Gear Wh*re self so “hold on there big man”… well as good as it sounds it overlaps my Suhr SL68 more than I’d thought it would and I seem to prefer the feel of a 100 watt loaded down into my PS100.

So it’s going back to Sweetwater and wanted to give a heads up for anyone looking for an open Snorkeler box from them. It should be there next week.

It’s a really really great sounding amp and one of my favorites from Bogner but I’m trying to get out of having amps that overlap too much and my SL68 is what I prefer by a slim margin.

It’s a great amp if you like the straight up plexi thing. Keep an eye out. Now that the MKII’s are out the MKI’s more than likely be coming down in price. In fact I got mine brand new from GC Nashville for $2300 because they wanted to move it for the MKII they had coming. Used you may see even better deals.

Minez going back too. My ears changed their minds. Having the 2203x with Mr Scary mod and a teet of pedal takes me home. Can’t stop playing it. Snorkler’s not kerrangy enuff for me. Different kind of teeth.
