IK Multimedia TONEX

Training times have massively improved on my system (3900x with 3090 GPU). They've gone from ~40 mins to around ~30-35 mins and now approx 10-15 when all is said and done. I've always done "Advanced" training which is now "Extended". The new Modeller app is such an improvement for a bunch of reasons, credit where credit is due. ToneX captures are no longer a painful process, well done.

What do you think about the results?

Seems I’ve totally missed the Extended thing. Where do you choose that? I’ve looked around and thought they ditched the different training levels or something.

Thanks dean and Nathan! I think my power amp capture is OK on Optimized but the high gain caps I’m planning will def be on Extended.

I’ve got 14 years in UI/UX but IK makes sure to surprise me. I don’t know if I should be impressed or pissed that I missed that hamburger!

I tried to do a local search of all of my own 'scoob701' and couldn't find any. Then I tried a search for 'scoob701' on tonenet and nothing. This one is a mess.

So, scoob701 is you? If so, apart from me being able to find all your captures easily in the Tonex plugin, I'd really like to thank you as there's some pretty exellent captures among them! I might use one as the base dirt tone on Friday's gig.

The only thing I wished was that you tagged them as amp+cab captures so the Tonex software could do its magic and remove the cab portion (which, at least on some captures, works quite well), hence allowing me to use my own IRs.
But then, maybe it's just not needed as some of them are just excellent on their own. Plus, they seem to be considerably less noisy than other captures of comparable gain structures.
Thanks again!
