Why not just use Amplitube 5 with ToneX captures loaded into it?? Works really well actually.
Just not available as ready-to-roll hardware.

I agree. I did a couple of sessions recently and used the Tonex with my captures and IR’s and it really worked out great. My other guitarist and I wrapped up tracking guitars on a song tonight. Tonex is doing such a great job for us. We’re using a combination of the IK captures and some I’ve made of my 2204 and Mark III.
Tonight I discovered that I could use the Tonex cab models on my direct captures and that provided some surprisingly realistic results on a part I was struggling to seat sonically with their IRs. I didn’t know this was possible, and IMO adds a ton of flexibility to Tonex.
Hoping to get some mixes together soon.
Does this apply to all the tiers?
Why isn't there just a really obvious button labelled "show me my ToneX captures" ??
This is still frustrating software to use. It looks good. But isn't intuitive.
its sounds like they are going to update , also word is that ToneX , will get effects from their mod pedal and delays from their pedal line they discontinued as wellWhy isn't there just a really obvious button labelled "show me my ToneX captures" ??

This would be an INSANE value add from IK if true. I’m VERY curious to see what’s coming now. The mention of big firmware updates to the pedal is intriguing considering we all expected this to be abandonware.its sounds like they are going to update , also word is that ToneX , will get effects from their mod pedal and delays from their pedal line they discontinued as well
We shall see it certainly hits at Nano CortexThis would be an INSANE value add from IK if true. I’m VERY curious to see what’s coming now. The mention of big firmware updates to the pedal is intriguing considering we all expected this to be abandonware.
I also suspect the nano might be ratcheting up a little arms race, which frankly bring it on. The profile/capture space had all the air sucked out of it via Kemper’s reign over the last decade. It’s refreshing to see signs of life.We shall see it certainly hits at Nano Cortex
If they have 4 drives 4 mods 4 delays 4 reverbs
Even the limited white w the 150 captures from partner packs for an extra $50 is pretty cool
we should know by end of week , this week was all about toneX and everyday they are doing something newI also suspect the nano might be ratcheting up a little arms race, which frankly bring it on. Having 4 options in each of those effects categories would IMO be game changing if they get that all into the hardware. Not sure where you’re getting your info but I hope you’re right.
If something sounds fizzy, it’s because the source was fizzy. I’ve not found anything inherently fizzy about Tonex.Got to say I really dislike the sound clips they have on site even the Satriani and premium capture , they sound like a blanket over the speaker and are fizzy as hell,
To someone who owns the ToneX is the stuff on the IK site and accurate representation at all ?
