My other guitarist and I wrapped up tracking guitars on a song tonight. Tonex is doing such a great job for us. We’re using a combination of the IK captures and some I’ve made of my 2204 and Mark III.
Tonight I discovered that I could use the Tonex cab models on my direct captures and that provided some surprisingly realistic results on a part I was struggling to seat sonically with their IRs. I didn’t know this was possible, and IMO adds a ton of flexibility to Tonex.
Hoping to get some mixes together soon.
