Havent had much time with the TRacks6 stuff but the Triad Chorus was insta tone for 80's guitars

So true. Fortunately, I was recently able to free up 6 TB of space on my music laptop by dumping old projects (and other files) to a UGREEN NAS that has about 56 TB of available RAID5 storage.
:cheers

How can you have 6TB of space on a laptop? Likely not a Macbook, because that space would cost as much as the computer...
And yes, I'm jealous. And I hate Apple, too.

I only have 2 TB out of 4 TB in my 2019 macbook Pro 16 (Intel).

My main media production machine is a Lenovo Legion 7i Pro with 2 x 4 TB SSD, 64 GB DDR5 RAM, Intel i9 14900HX, RTX 4090.

I haven't done any music production on a desktop in over a decade. I prefer beefy laptops for their portability.

Even when it comes to computers, my "gearJunkie" moniker seems somewhat appropriate.
:rofl

Fwiw, for a short while, I had a higher amount of storage space in my 2008 plastic Macbook than in my 2024 fancy new MBA for €2600. Back in the days, you couldn't only exchange the main internal drive in a matter of seconds (after you've mirrored your system drive, which isn't possible anymore, either) but you could as well rip the optical drive out in favour of a second HDD frame, which is what I did. So I ended up with a 1TB system SSD and a 2TB HDD for storage. These days, I could easily go for 2x4TB SSD storage space. Would even still be cheaper than what I paid for my MBA's upgrade from 512GB (which is pathetic to even start with) to 2TB.
There's a lot of reasons to hate Apple with a passion...
(I quite love my MBA, though, at least so far.)

Never been an Apple fan because of BS like this.

Well, I'm a Logic user since around 1997, so I can't really help it anymore. Should've switched when Apple bought Emagic, but here we are...
But then, apart from all the issues I'm having with Apple, there's still no other laptop delivering that much at such a form factor. No moving parts inside, does only get lukewarm under load (mind you, with the lid closed) and battery life is good for an entire day, including working in pretty heavy Logic sessions.

Registered my Tonex One Pedal- nothing shows up in promotions. Can't contact support because the website is unavailable about 8 of every 10 refreshes.

Anybody else register a pedal and have nothing show up in promotions? I would ask support but the website is mostly non-working.

Try changing your DNS settings in your router to use OpenDNS.

I had the same problem accessing their website and using OpenDNS resolved the issue for me.

OpenDNS seems to make no difference. I verified it with the verification page at openDNS to make sure something wasn't snatching DNS requests. Website still works only intermittently. Userarea -> promotions still doesn't show anything about the group buy.

I am also running a local Pi-Hole server (which points to OpenDNS: 208.67.222.222). So maybe that's the difference.

I have a dedicated Raspberry Pi 5 device, but you can run it on a Windows machine using docker.

So you're saying you were able to access the website at least intermittently and the promotions section was empty until you switched to OpenDNS and then it worked fine?

OpenDNS has a test page so you can verify that you are using OpenDNS and that verified when I went to it.

Currently, the issues happen at home or at work but both are probably Comcast (SE USA)

I kept getting errors trying to reach the group buy page. It would hang 9 out of 10 times and if I did finally reach the page, clicking any link had the same failure behavior.

After setting up a Pi-hole server configured to use OpenDNS, and then updating my edge router to use my Pi-hole server IP address as its primary DNS nameserver, I have a 100% success rate accessing the group buy link. I have not attempted to register anything yet since my Tonex and Capture devices don't arrive until tomorrow.

Looks like the website is still having issues. My success rate is about 50% right now.

The Microsoft Edge web browser seems to work. I get failures with Firefox and Chrome.

I think that must just be coincidence. Edge fails about as much as Brave for me at the moment.

I think the DNS thing is probably a red herring also. DNS wouldn't come into play once the hostname is already resolved. It would be cached for a while too. I'm not having DNS failures anyway. I'm having failures where the page doesn't respond and fails to load right after it loaded a moment ago (proving DNS resolution was successful).

I suppose there could be some kind of crazy AJAX stuff on the promotions page that relies on a separate DNS mechanism. That would sure be odd, though I guess stranger things have happened.
