I tried that and it worked. It works but no indication of how many I have left. Really annoying.

It's a stupid implementation, but it just goes up in tiers. Not sure what the max tier is.

You have plenty to redeem everything you really want and then can think of what you maybe want.

In your browser, press control-f and search for the word "redeemed" to get the total count of claimed titles.

What makes it difficult is I can't find any one place where they're all listed.

The redeemed slots should show up on top of the list. Just count them.

When I redeemed one just now, I went back and there was again just one at the bottom to redeem.

Yeah they keep running down until you hit the last of the tier 29 I think then they are all done. It is confusing as you don't know how many you have left but they are all there.
