Do not buy a JVM410. You will hate it for this. It’s not what you think it is and it won’t do what you think it will. Seriously, don’t.

But for that kind of money you could get something else. Like a JCM800 2203 or a Jubilee (with a boost).

How gainy is it?

It's one of the gainiest of the Orange amp offerings, in my experience. Stiffer power section than the Rockerverbs and
more preamp gain. Rockerverb is looser feel wise. TH is stiffer.

Why such a severe roll off of the Treble? Holy shit! That seems pretty drastic and very un-Marshall-esque.

The Badlander is one of the only Mesas I've used where cranking normally obnoxious controls sounds awesome

I cycled through the TH, a Rockerverb, and the AD30. I bet you'd dig it.

That's literally the exact opposite of "cranking," though---which is why I asked.

Edit: nevermind. It is an optical illusion of the reflected light that made it seem the Treble was
rolled off next to nothing.
