I Gotta Wonder About Fractal's, er, "Perception"

This has not been my recent experience with the QC at all. I've read they improved it?
Could have , I had the QC way back when it released
And Wifi , touch screen response and ground noise were certainly some things that could have used some improvement

There's two kinds of people in the world.

Person #1 is like my son. He owns the most powerful video game hardware there is and plays the most complex games he can find. Not just mano y mano stuff, but controlling armies and huge inventories of life sustaining supplies and stocking up on certain ammo based on which geographical location of the game he's headed off to, etc. He tries to explain what's going on to me and I'm lost in less than 30 seconds. I can tell he's enjoying the heck out of himself while playing, but the game would drive me absolutely bonkers.

Person #2 is like me. I play Wordle and Spelling Bee on my phone and it brings me joy. :giggle:
Wordle is like phd level man
I am happy playing Family Feud app

For that guy , realistically it is probably not the right product IMO
I have had to just walk away from a few users like that over the years...

Because I really want to say "please, for the love of all that is holy, give up and sell your Fractal!"

I've never said it because I think that isn't the right attitude to present on their forum... Probably about every 12-18 months there is another one.

Mentioned recently that through a forum I hooked up with a guy local to me to teach him some ropes with the new Toaster he just bought.
He had the attention span of a gnat and within 5 minutes I realized it was hopeless and he should just sell the thing. Doesn't make him a bad guy - just a terrible fit for the product.

Good luck clicking the value encoder on the FM3 - it's the only current Fractal unit that doesn't have a clickable value encoder! ;)

Rats, you're right  It's been a while...

I do distinctly remember trying to use the value encoder instead of the navigation keys, and viceversa. Drove me crazy.

If he wants to be the Leon Todd of the TMP, the first thing that guy should possibly strive for is not to be the polar opposite of the "make everything sound nice" folks. I don't expect monster chops, but if you review equipment (or even rave about it), please be decent enough to play at least somewhat better than after your first 4 lessons.
Agreed..... My sister has better chops than that dude.

I always think about this story I read once about a Dell or HP customer support person that got fired...

After going thru numerous tedious troubleshooting steps he discovered the customer was unable to use his computer correctly because his residence was in the midst of a power outage.

He told the customer, "sir, please put your computer back into the original box and return it to the store where you purchased it. Tell them you are too fucking stupid to own a computer!"

I used to work for HP when I was younger Network printers for MAC
Similar thing happened
One guy one day after like an hour on the phone with this one customer , blurted out “ sir I think I have located the issue , it appears to be between the chair and the keyboard. He did not show up the next day

Wordle is great because I can only play once a day. Hard to get addicted lol

Something doesn't add up with those numbers....... win 100% but current streak only 3?
Do you remember what the word was the day you guessed it in one?

Mine was ADAGE

I've found you can't fix stupid, so don't waste your time trying.

Long ago; someone must have been a huge asshole + the idea that you sell a full stack to buy a rack unit and somehow not comprehend there will be differences because duh = 20 years later, we're still seeing people entering the cry room.
You just gave me a flashback of White Room by Cream, we played it in my last band.

In the cry room, with some puppies and a teddy bear,
Sits a snowflake, who just can’t cope and is in despair…

Someone wrote Digital Trees at TOP, it was hilarious, but I can’t remember who it was.

Maybe just lack of attention span? The ill will comes in when it's referred to as stupidity that you don't get along with a platform - for whatever reason. And ya, it could be the device and operation is simply too technical for someone. So what. Live and let live.

Luckily they sell all speeds. 3,344 hits.

I worked in the HP Response Center in Roseville, CA providing "backline" support for HP-UX.

The number of dumb issues I worked on was mind boggling. Keep in mind that a backline engineer was never involved in a case until the HP frontline engineer had spent at least 30 minutes triaging the issue!

My fellow support engineers were frequent users of their phone's mute button, where they'd say all kinds of nasty comments before returning to pleasantries with the customers.

I almost never did it because I was worried I'd miss the button :)

I missed a day which breaks your streak (it's kinda funny how annoyed I get at myself when I realize I forgot to do it the previous day 😂).

But I have also failed on 2 words (can't remember what they were). The win percentage is rounded off.

Edit: Oh the word I got in one was IRATE. I always start with that lol
