How gross is the Seymour Duncan Dimebucker?

Looking at a cheap guitar that caught my eye that the current owner put a Dimebucker in. I LOVE my DActivators and really don't want to get pulled into an upgrade rabbit hole as the guitar is cool but not some groundbreaking thing I can't live without.

Guitar is cheap and swapping a pickup isn't that bad - if you don't like it. They aren't the most popular pickup out there but it may rip!?

I will prbably take a pass on it. Guitar is common and I am not going to grab something with a pickup I have heard nothing good about

I had one in a Warlock I bought a year or two ago. For my tastes, it had too much high end and not enough beef. Ended up yanking it and selling it. Then sold the Warlock with a stock BCR pup in it, which I actually liked better (those are really hit & miss).

I agree to some extent. It definitely lets you know it has super hot output and scooped mids, but beyond that

That describes at least 5 or 6 pickups I've had that sound nothing like this one.

I think so? It was one of those pieces I read about years ago and took subtle notes to never buy on it. I am currently revisiting said never buy it notes

Gojira "tele". Not at a groundbreaking price or anything so I have generally moved on I'd say.
